The ratio of the number of cars to the number of scooters in the basement of a skyscraper was 4 : 7.

Mac counted and found that there were a total of 480 wheels.

(a) What is the number of cars in the basement?

(b) Some scooters left the basement. Following which, the ratio of the number of cars to the number of scooters in the basement became 2 : 3. Find the number of scooters that went out of the basement.
